Have you updated Safety Suite Recently

Do you know what version of Honeywell Safety Suite you are using? As Honeywell continues to release new features and bug fixes, it's critical to keep your equipment updated and maintained at regular intervals.

Most first responders already have an established schedule for their meters and perform routine bump checks and calibrations to ensure their meters are ready to go in case of a call.

What they may not consider is that their host laptop also needs regular maintenance. It is good practice to power on and update the laptop at regular intervals.

Here are three steps to keeping your laptop ready for action:

  1. Run Windows update and download any driver and software updates.
  2. Run Safety Suite Responder updates. Currently, the software will not automatically update. Users need to manually check and download updates from the Honeywell Safety Suite website when they become available.
  3. After performing all updates to your host laptop, you should perform a connectivity check with your wireless meters.

Taking these quick, preventative maintenance steps will help ensure your equipment is ready when you need it. If you have any questions concerning these updates or running Honeywell Safety Suite, give our service team a call at 888-972-3389 or visit our Safety Suite Resources page.
