Provides the required equipment to determine whether oil mist is present in the workplace by providing convenience and flexibility in oil-mist sampling. When sampling for oil mist, it is important to follow NIOSH Method 5026. After samples are collected with a sampling pump, they should be sent to a lab for analysis. The recommended lab testing method is infrared spectrophotometry.

Principles of Operation

The kits feature an Escort ELF or Escort LC Sampling Pump, three-piece 37-mm MCE filter cassette, 0.8 micron pore size (10 filters per kit), 110-Volt charger, sampling line, garment clip and instruction manual.
